Thorne Halliday - Law Firm
Client:
Project Overview:
Thorne Halliday is a concept website for a full-service Chicago law firm, designed end-to-end in Claude's design canvas and built out in Webflow. The brief behind it: a firm whose promise is "Good counsel, plainly given." — so the site answers the three questions every prospective client actually has (who will handle this, how long will it take, what will it cost) before they ever pick up the phone.
The seven-page build covers the full client journey: a Home page with a practice triage that routes visitors to the right lawyer, Practice Area pages that lay out case stages with timelines and representative results, an Attorneys page built around one named lawyer per matter, a How We Work page explaining the four-step process, an Insights hub with plain-English articles, and a four-step Consultation flow that replaces the generic contact form.
The visual direction is warm and editorial — ink, cream and amber tones, Newsreader set against Geist, and sepia-graded photography of real offices and people rather than gavel-and-handshake stock — giving a traditional profession a calm, modern and trustworthy presence.
